Founded in 1991, Parterre is the product design and quality leader in the U.S. luxury vinyl tile (LVT) segment of the flooring industry. Parterre was one of the first LVT manufacturers in the United States; it has since grown into the leading design brand sold to a variety of end-use segments, including hospitality, retail, healthcare, multi-family, and corporate office.

Headquartered in Wilmington, MA, Parterre is the winner of multiple awards for product design and quality including: ADEX, Interior Design Best of Year, Buildings Magazine Editor’s Choice, and Floor Focus Magazine Favorite Resilient and Hard Surface Manufacturers. Parterre provides on a stocking basis over 200 SKUs of proprietary stone and wood grain patterns and colors, designed to meet the current and future needs of architects, interior designers, and property developers in North America.

During JMH’s ownership period, the company grew aggressively through sales force expansion and product development and design. Parterre was acquired by a leading investor in building products in 2017.
