JMH CAPITAL PARTNERS (JMH) has divested Industrial Rental Services, d/b/a Service Radio Rentals/Industrial Blind Solutions (SRR/IBS), the market leader for industrial communication equipment and industrial blinds.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Deer Park, Texas, SRR/IBS is the largest provider of intrinsically-safe communication equipment and industrial blinds for use in industrial facilities throughout the U.S. From its initial focus on the refinery maintenance market in the Gulf Coast, the company expanded nationally and broadened its end market presence to include the chemical, power generation, and pulp and paper industries. Additionally, the company developed market-leading technical expertise, which enabled SRR/IBS to address complicated in-plant locations, enabling their customers’ efforts to improve worker safety and productivity.
During JMH’s ownership, the company grew through sales force expansion, the introduction of new products and services, the opening of additional regional offices, and a doubling of the rental fleet. SRR/IBS was acquired by United Rentals (NYSE: URI) as part of the ongoing expansion of its specialty rental business.
